My GGGrandfather was James Caldwell married to Josephine Warwick in 1867. Children were Armintha, Nancy, James A., Sterling, Magnatia, John Lee, and probably others. They resided in or around Luttrell TN from that date to after the turn of the century. According to census records James was Tennessee born in 1828 or 1829 and I can't seem to tie him to Caldwells in the immediate area. I have read here that James was the son of Robert Caldwell, son of Hugh from Virginia, of Knox county, but that James appears to have been born around 1850. I would appreciate any info you could pass to me.
