I have a JAMES CAMUS CALDWELL b. 1701 m. SALLY CECIL 3-20-1819, of Tazewell Co. They were on the Lee County Census, 1840 on Scott County 1850. Also have a POLLY (MARY) CALDWELL, b. 12-23-1793, Lee Co., VA, d. 10-22-1863, M. CPT. MOSES A. SCOTT b. Rockbridge County. Do not think any of this
cooresponds to any of yours, but is possible
these CALDWELLS are connected because of the
locations. My later CALDWELLS went to Russell County, VA (formerly Washington Co.) and later to CLark County, Ill by 1830. Then settled in Effingham County (Effingham).
