ConnieI would be interested in what you have on the parents of your James Caldwell. Main problem with the Caldwells (and others) is that they all seem to be named James or John or William. Does make for confusion. Here are my references for John Little. they also apply to Lydia Caldwell. Doug Little !Ref:Assoc Test:History of Bedford New Hampshire, Boston, Alfred Mudge, 1851, pp 130, 356 {72}; History of Bedford, New Hampshire from 1737, Concord, Rumford Printing Co, 1903 pp 491-2 {63} :Death,Burial:Descendants of George Little by George Thomas Little 1883 p 522 under "Other Families of Little in the United States" notes that John Little, of Scotch-Irish descent, an officer in the Revolution, lived in Bedford, Goffstown and Lyman, NH and died in the latter place in 1813 {27} The Genealogical Column of the Boston Transcript for November 9,1908 notes that "Lieutenant Colonel John Little" was buried in the Parker Hill Cemetery in Lyman, New Hampshire. He "died very old, date not known" {R132}
