I am searching for the parents of Eleanor "Nellie" Caldwell, born c. 1725, probably in Lunenburg County, Virginia. Eleanor Caldwell married James Vernon, who was born in 1716 in the Cub Creek Settlement, Lunenburg County, VA.
Eleanor may have been the daughter of James and Elizabeth Caldwell, also of Cub Creek. She died in Abbeville, South Carolina, about 1813.
This is NOT the Eleanor Caldwell, daughter of William Caldwell and Rebecca Parque Walkup, who married John Moore.
