James & Polly Caldwell Rockbridge VA

I am looking for information on Polly Caldwell. She is my 5th great grandmother. I know she was in Rockbridge in the late 1700's. At first I thought her birth name was Caldwell, but could find nothing on her. I found a Polly Bowyer who married a JAMES CALDWELL in Rockbridge VA--12 DEC 1797. My Polly later married Samuel Oyler and moved to Gallia County Ohio. I need to know if Polly Bowyer who married James Caldwell could be my Polly Oyler. Polly Oyler died in the 1830's. PLEASE HELP........
