I also have a gggrandfather David Caldwell,I have a marriage certificate from 2nd Presbyterian Church in Southwark , which I understand is in Philadelphia PA. He and Julia Woolson were married there on Dec 3,1828 ,He was born in Delaware in 1803 and she was born in NJ in 1807. They were in New Castle DEL census in 1830,1840 and 1850 censuses.Sometime around 1860 they moved to Whitley County IN and were there in 1870 census. They are buried in Larwill In. But I am at the proverbial brick wall to go beyond 1828. The certificate,by the way spelled the name Colwell, but it is Caldwell from then on Any help out there?
