I desc from John Caldwell who arrive in 1791
from Ireland. Would like to establish the
place of orgin was Co Tyrone, and why they left. There were several Caldwell and Love
families in York Co SC before this group arrived who came by way of PA. Johns wife was Elenor. I desc from son Robert who married Elizabeth Love and from dau Fannie w married Caldwell Maxwell. Can anyone connect the Caldwell and Maxwell families in Ireland. C. Maxwell came abt 1842 from Kilcar Co Donnegal, next door to
Co Tyrone. Early in Missouri.
