I had never thought of that, liking bagpipes so much, but since you mentioned it; I do. I will try to find "Craig" and see what he has posted since then. I don't think he is from the line that I want as mine went to Ohio and then to Indiana. I don't think they ever got that far south. There were only a few Davids in Ohio when I checked the census for 1830 so one of them had to be the one I am looking for.
I think I have traced my mothers side of the family back as far as 500AD but it is somewhat speculation before 1500. I do believe that the Caldwells were close to the English bluebloods at one time. Close meaning friends or distant relatives. What do you think? I guess everyone wishes to be related to Royalty. Ha ha.
