Hi Ted, Calderon is probably right.
Many people tried to Amercanize their names when they immigrated here.
Calderon is an old Roman name that is found throughout Europe Including of course Italy, Romania, Hungary, and even in England. The only different way I have seen it spelled is Calderone by the italians.
