Calder, Margaret View/Sign Guest Book
CALDER Margaret Margaret formerly of Vancouver, Point Roberts and late of Delta, age 88 passed away in SMH on January 23, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Ken and granddaughter Leannne. Margaret is survived by her sons Brian (Marlene) and Ron and daughter Sue (Mark) Walker. Grandchildren, Kathy, Glenn, Marie, Annette, Ken, Beth, Christopher and Hayley. Great-grandchildren Tiffany, Matthew, Savannah, Kendra, Kaitlyn, Jordan, Trinity and Carissa, great-grandson Mattias and very dear friend Anna. Margaret was a life member of the Daughters of the Nile, Lodge 72. She formerly volunteered at the Point Roberts Senior Center, where she could be relied upon to make all the table centerpieces. Her prize winning blackberry pies always sold out first at the bake sales. An avid craftsperson and gardener, her Point Roberts home was always a showplace and the envy of the community. Of strong spirit and good humor, she will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew her. No service by request. Donations in Margaret's memory may be made to the Point Roberts Food Bank or charity of your choice.
