Jan 16, 1833, aged 84y 2 m., erected by Joseph Calder In Memory of Ann, d/o Joseph and Marion Calder, and w/o Joseph Newton, d. May 25, 1825, 22nd year of her age, erected by Joseph Calder Eliza, d/o Rev. Alexr. and Affa Calder, d. Feb 1, 1823, aged 5m Ann Elizabeth, d/o Rev. Alexr. and Affa Calder, d. Jun 3, 1829, 2nd year of her age" There may be other Calders buried there I did not record. Alexander Calder who married Affa Knight was a son of Joseph Calder, and so presumably was William H. Calder. Joseph's wife Marion was Marion Dunn. I have no idea who Ann Newton was -- was she perhaps Ann Calder Newton's mother-in-law? Or even Joseph Calder's own mother? From the inscription on the grave of William Dunn Calder, it would appear that Joseph's father was named John Calder. Hope this helps other Calder researchers.
