I am looking for information on my family:
John Lawrence Harris (1845-1923) married Mary Jane Calder (1856-1918) in 1883 in Baltimore, MD
her parent's: Robert Calder (1833-1906) married Mary Ann Gilberthorp (1830-1904) in 1853 in Baltimore, MD
his parent's: Edward Calder (1804-1847) married Roseanna MacNeal (1808-1864) in 1832 in Baltimore, MD. He was born in Charlestown, MA, she was born in Ireland.
his parent's: Robert Calder(1761-1849) married Anne Davis (1773-1848) in 1791 in Charlestown, MA. He was born in Charlestown, MA and she was born in Dorchester, MA.
his parent's: William Calder (1735-1802) married Anne Estabrook (1742-1816) in 1759 in Charlestown, MA, where both were born.
The information I have, shows a George Calder, I am assuming is William Calder's dad. I have a Laird of Aswanley (sp?) somewhere around the mid 1750's in Scotland. Then I have a Hannah Lawrence and Isobel Skene, perhaps daughter of Alexander Skene of Skene. Then the line goes back to the 1300's to Robert Bruce, King of Scotland and John Stewart, Lord of Lorns. If you have any information, please let me know. I am trying to find the relationship between George Calder (son of William and Ann Calder) and to Hannah Lawrence and Isobel Skene. The page I have is old and messed up, so not sure how they are related. Please email me @ colleen1974nc@aol.com so I can finish up this side of the family tree. Thanks
