A. ARTHUR CALDER #1547 m. 1928, MARIA HALL #1548, (daughter of JOHNSTON HALL #2486 and Miss AYTON #2487) d. 1964, DIPTON. came to Dipton from Boggyburn in 1925. 360 acres on Boundary Rd. (Castlerock estate). named it "Wallace Ville" He and George were champion Romney breeders p81, 88 MARIA: Parents lived next door.
II. JOHN I CALDER #81 b. 187?, GROPER'S BUSH, m. 1890?, MARY VINCENT #82, b. 1872, WAIMATE, (daughter of PETER VINCENT #1502 and MARY (POLLY) HARPER #1493) d. 1927, DIPTON. JOHN died 19??, DIPTON. Took up the MOORABOOL (Dipton) in 1907. Farm was very rough and wet. See moonlight ranges p18 & 72.
A. MARY-ANNE CALDER #5 b. 22 Apr 1893, DIPTON, m. 1919, in DIPTON ?, SAMUEL JOHN MINCHER #1, b. 7 May 1892, Spirit Burn Valley ?, (son of SAMUEL MINCHER #79 and MARTHA EVANS #80) d. 8 Aug 1952. MARY-ANNE died 6 Dec 1984. SAMUEL: In 1935 he brought the farm next to his father's original Dipton farm, Farm then passed to his son Chum. See 'Moonlight Ranges' p43
B. JESSIE CALDER #191 b. 3 Aug 1894, m. (TOM) TASMAN ROCARD #277. TOM WAS BLACKSMITH
C. JOHN II ALEXANDER CALDER #189 b. 29 Dec 1895, m. in OF LUMSDEN, BARBARA MAY CONGRIEVE #190, b. Lumsden. JOHN died 23 Apr 1972.
D. MARTHA CALDER #188 b. 17 Aug 1897, m. SYDNEY MINCHER #180, (son of SAMUEL MINCHER #79 and MARTHA EVANS #80).
E. MARGARET CALDER #273 b. 27 Dec 1900, m. (1) in not married, Mr Hardy #2583, m. (2) GAVIN HALL #310, m. (3) ROBERT HAMILTON #313. MARGARET died 18 Jun 1978.
F. CHARLES CALDER #193 b. 17 Dec 1903, m. (1) ISOBEL ANDERSON #194, (daughter of MR ANDERSON #1687) m. (2) MARJORIE MILLER #1473. SEE MOONLIGHT RANGES P72.
III. GLADYS CALDER #1699 m. MR COWIE #1700.
