I am researching the Calder side of my family which runs as follows: -
Alfred James Calder married Minnie Elizabeth Clewer. They had a son, Alfred Glenville Calder, born on 26 July 1890 at 32 West Street, Brighton who was a steeplechase jockey. He married Alice Harden on 25 March 1924 in Exning, Suffolk. He died 27 Jan 1927 at Cheltenham, Glos. They had a daughter, my mother, June Norah Calder on 1 Jan 1925 at Market Harborough who married my father. A newspaper cutting states that A.G.Calder 'came of a well-known Worcester sporting family'.
Any information about this side of my family would be appreciated.
