I too am researchng Caldecott.
Seeking John Caldecott who married Susannah Austin abt: 20 Sept. 1776 probably in Kimbolton,England. Children from this marriage, Charles Caldecott b: 24 Jan. 1781, a surgeon who traveled to S. Africa with his family dying 1820, shortly after arriving in the Cape of S. Africa.
Charles's younger sibling was Susannah E. Caldecott b: 1784 who in 1806 married in St. George's London, William Peacock, a noted clockmaker who learned his trade from his father-in-law John Caldecott.
Susannah Caldecott Peacock died 1836, hubby William died Huntingdon, 1864.
Look forward to further discussions with other Caldecott researcher.
