Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I am a descendant of William Calbick and have found his obituary in a book on Canadian records. It states:
CALBICK, William was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, and came to Canada c. 1831, settling in Chinuacousy. While there, he married Widow Sutcliffe, with whom he later moved to Belmont. In the spring of 1863, he moved toYarmouth, where he died of inflammation of the bowels, June 6, 1867; survived by his wife, 7 sons, and 1 daughter.
Other research I have done shows that Mary Ceasar was first married to a Thomas Sutcliffe, who was a military man, and he died soon after they were married, and she had no children with him.
