I recently purchased at Greensboro, NC, the subject photo of a middle-aged woman, identified on the back of the print:
"Margaret B. Cain
Oct. 27, 1931.
Exam Feb. 23, 1932."
This individual appears in a public member tree posted on ancestry.com. She is listed in the 1900 and 1910 Census data for Ladore Township, Neosho Co., KS; the 1920 Census data for Syracuse (resided 620 West Onondaga Street), Onondaga Co., NY; and the 1930 Census data for Ladore Township, Neosho Co., NY. She is included in the Social Security Death Index and the North Carolina Death Certificates, 1909-1975.
Margaret "Maggie" B. Cain, born 3 Sep 1889 in KS, died 15 May 1967 in Butner, Granville Co., NC (last residence: Greensboro, Guilford Co., NC), was the daughter of a farmer, Fredrick/Frederick F. Cain, born Apr 1844 in NY, and Mary Belle Ferguson, born Aug 1852 in MI. Her siblings (all born in KS) were: Clifford C. Cain, born Jul 1880, Mary A. Cain, born Mar 1883, and Addie Inez Cain, born May 1885. Margaret was employed as a stenographer. She married a Mr. Olander, first name unknown. I found no evidence that the couple had any children.
