Looking for Parents of Jesse Cain b 1789 PA d 1850 OH

My ggg gf is Jesse Cain/Cane/Kain/Kane b 1789 PA, d Jan 1850, Pickaway Co. Ohio. Married Elizabeth _____ b 1789 PA. Had at least two children - Sarah b 1826 and Jesse Smith Cain b 1828-1831, both of PA, also resided in Pickaway Co, Ohio. Looking for any information on Jesse Cain's (b 1789) parents or birth county in PA to continue my search. I can't match Jesse up with any other Jesse's I've found on-line.

- Iím uncertain as to where in PA to look.
- I cannot confirm any contemporaneous relatives in Ohio who might have migrated with Jesse and Elizabeth from PA.
- However, Jesse Cainís son, Jesse Smith Cain, served in the Civil War, and after his service, he moved to Morgan/Brown Co IN area, and married Margaret Hobbs on 20 Apr 1869. My hypothesis is that Jesse Smith Cain went to Morgan/Brown Co IN because some of his relatives were there. A Jesse W Kain (possibly the son of John Gates Cain?) married Harriet S VanSickle 2 weeks earlier, on 4 Apr 1869, also in Morgan County. I have not been able to show that these two Jesseís were related, but it is very interesting.

If any of you Cain/Cane/Kain/Kane researchers can help guide me, Iíd greatly appreciate it!
