Rosella seems to have died March 2, 1931 according to her death record: http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_dcsearch.aspx

Unfortunately it does not list her parents and they don't have a death certificate for her for some reason. Her obituary may be helpful if for no reason as it may list siblings. However, it lists her as a widow as does the census. Are you sure James left for Nebraska? The James B. Myer who married Hallie and lived in Nebraska was a younger man.

You can look at the 1888 marriage record of Jas B. Myer and R. Ella Cain at: http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_mcsearch.aspx

It lists her parents as Thos J. Cain Jr and Nancy.

The death certificates for their children might be helpful. In the database above it would include S. C. Cain 1931, Daniel Cain 1955, Mary Mickleson 1920, Martha Eaton 1957. Nancy's maiden name was Enoch.

Here are a number of people working on this family: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=Search&includedb=&lang=en&ti=&surname=cain&stype=Exact&given=thomas&bplace=&byear=&brange=0&dplace=&dyear=&drange=0&mplace=&myear=&mrange=0&father=&mother=&spouse=enoch&skipdb=&period=All&submit.x=Search

Several of them have James Myer dying in 1907, one in 1912.

BTW James and Ella were living in Jackson County, WV in 1900. He was born May 1865 and she in May 1864.
