Stanley Lester Cain
SHREVEPORT, LA - Stanley Lester Cain passed away on Friday, October 16, at the age of 73 at his home in Shreveport after a long fight with emphysema.
Stan was born in Bossier City to parents Clyde Huron Cain and Dolly Cain Durham. He is survived by his wife Theresa Cain; brother Conrad Cain; two daughters Cynthia Cain Bolin and Lynne Cain Most and her husband Clark; their mother Gloria Hyde Cain; one son Steve Cain and his wife Theresa; three grandchildren Andrew Pope, Audrey Reed and her husband Shawn, and March Cain; one great grandchild Alivia Reed; cousins Martha "Sis" Book, Marybeth Gamble and David Lee; and lifelong friends Sgt. Lowell McClain and Lamar Allums.
Services to honor Stan have been temporarily postponed and will be announced at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to members of the Veteran's Administration Hospital and the Hospice of Shreveport-Bossier.
