Hi Samantha,
Thanks for writing.I did google Redbird Acres and got about 7 hits for some folks with champion goats????
I haven't worked on my Cain line for a couple of years.Elisha > Williamis my line.
It appears that Elisha had a first wife Mary. Her name can be found in a deed dated - Nov. 9, 1779. I've got a copy - the name is definitely not Martha.
By 1783, (perhaps Mary had died) Elisha had married Amanda Blake.Amanda's children with Elisah Cain were named in Benjamin Blake's will.

Benjamin Blake - planter.
Wife: not named.
Son: Benj. Blake.
Daus: Martha Cain, SARAH BRASWELL, Rebecca Mason (or Massey), Penelope Blake, Ann Blake, Bethena Blake, (all minors).
GrCh:
-Penelope, Mary Ann, Obedience, Hardy Phillips, Children of Thomas Phillips.
-Sarah and Absalom Cane, children of Elisha Cane.
My ancestor (Elisha's son William) was born in April 1772(Bible record). He would have been 11 when Benjamin Blake'swill was probated - still a minor and likely not excluded by a grandfather who was naminghis grandchildren in his will.
