Thank You very much Burdette for this wealth of information.
Miriam MOODY is my main interest in all of this. She was a daughter of James Moody and Sarah Baker of Annapolis Co., NS.
James Moody's line is the one I am most interested in as his family and my family share exact ydna even though my family was from Maine.
My 5th grt. grandfather's name whom I cannot find out further info on was also named James Moody but he married Elizabeth Donald in York Co., Maine in Jan. 1774 and then they disappeared off the map.
They had son Joseph Moody who shows up back in Buxton, York Co., Maine by 1802 when he married his 1st wife.
His 2nd wife was my 4th grt. grandmother and she was reportedly Mi'kmaw Indian.
The only way I have been able to discover anything about my Possible family is to research the Connecting Other families to them.
This was why I was researching the LeCain family.
I noticed the name of HENSHAW linked to the LeCain family.
That is interesting because during the Rev. War there was an undercover soldier named James MOODY alias "Henshaw" or vice versa that I have never been able to find anymore about.
I do not believe he was the same Lt. James Moody of Loyalist fame of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and ydna evidence has proven we do not link to his family.
Our family of Moody's claim to be of "Irish" ethnicity, but nothing has been found to prove that as yet.We only know so far that we don't link to any of the English Moody's as there are about 30 Moody men who have done the ydna test now that do link to the English Moody's and we do not match to any of their branches so far.
Again I thank you very much for taking the time to post this info for me.
