Thankyou, Julie, for your decided help with the Cahoons. t my husband's niece foud where her great great grandparents, Sophia Freeman Cahoon and foster Cahoon were living prior to their passing. She lives in BEverly and has access to Vital Records there.
My husband's middle name is Freeman, in honor of his grandmother Martha Freeman CAhoon, daughter of the above. Martha's sister, Janet Cahoon, married her new brother in law's second cousin, Mr.Ober. Also, Martha F. Cahoon had to apply for naturalization papers in U.S. and her ancestors were early settlers of Plymouuth and most of Cape Cod. LD
