With both my niece and me working on her family, we managed to arrive at two different fathers and grandfathers for this Charles Cahoon. She came up with an earlier Charles married to Elizabeth Cahoon, his cousin; I insist that William Cahoon and Tabitah Smith were the parents. Along the way we even guessed at Downing Cahoon marr. Elizabeth Maker. I think that birth rrecords were sketchy in Nova Scotia in late 1700's and through 1800's.
One sure fact, this Charles's son was Foster Cahoon marr. to Sophia Freeman, daughter of George Freeman and
Katherine Kempton. Thank you for any help. LD
