Cahoon Experts Please Help!

Can anyone help me to identify Lydia Cahoon b abt 1760 in Wellfleet,Mass m Richard Higgins of Eastham,Mass on June 7,1783 in Wellfleet? I would like to connect her to the Cahoon family. She and husband Richard Higgins moved to Maine before 1800 to settled in Leeds,Fairfield and Starks where they had a large family. They adopted a daughter Deliverance Rich who was born on Cape Cod in 1780 who was supposedly the daughter of a seaman Obadiah Rich who was lost at sea. This has been a long search and difficult and I will appreciate any help from Cahoon researchers. Bill Gould
