There are two Herbert Cahoon's living in CT. They both have been associate with Yale in one way or another, however, how they are related is not clear. My uncle Herbert Ames Cahoon b.1916 living in Woodbridge CT and still very healthy is originally from Lynn/Marblehead, MA. His line clearly traces back to William who came over in 1651. Hope this helps.
