Bicentennial cahoon pioneer celebration

i recently stumbled across a manuscript written by ida m. cahoon. it is the history of the cahoon family with especial reference to joseph cahoon/ the first settler of dover, ohio and his descendants. there was a centenial celebration of the descendants of Joseph. my goal is to find out whether i am related to these cahoons. if i am i would be interested in helping orchestrate a bicentenial family reunion. the celebration was at rose hill in dover ohio. joseph was married to lydia kenyon and they had samuel, amos, Mary, Joel Butler, Abigail, Rebecca, Daniel Kenyon, Benjamin Reynolds, William Ovington, Joseph Franklin and two infants that died at birth. please let me know how these cahoons connect with present day cahoon's. thanks
