Thank You! This gives me something to go on. I've been at a brick wall with my John Cahill (4th gr. grandfather). I know he died in 1812, Oct. 31. He served in the war of 1812 (Aug to Sept) He did have a son named Thomas said to have been born in 1805 from one source and 1807 in another source. He was born in Mason Co. KY I have no other info about him. Whether he is the Thomas you ask about, I don't know. He would have been awfully young to receive land. My next Thomas was born much later. 1900's Thoughts? TY TY TY for responding. Notify Administrator about this message?
