George Cahill (born 1875) Pontypridd Wales or Swindon, UK? Lost Relative!

I'm trying to find out as much as I can about GEORGE CAHILL, my Great Grandfather who seems a little mysterious! He is the father of Dorothy Ellen Cahill of Pontypridd, South Wales. The 1901 Census shows him as head of a family at 27 Richmond Road, Llanwono, Mountain Ash , Glamorganshire, South Wales. He is a collier, married (aged 26) to Sarah (aged 22). He has a young sister of 4, called Lily born in Wiltshire, Swindon. This indicates he was born in 1875. It states he and Sarah were both born in Glamorganshire. This does not make sense as Lily's Swindon connection shows a George Cahill in the 1881 Census (age 6), son of Elizabeth and Richard Cahill, with sisters Ellen, Elizabeth and Rosetta. George's father 'Richard' is a Factory Labourer and his birthplace is Ireland. Their address is 'PRIVATE HOUSE', Stratton St Margaret, Wiltshire which even the local family history society can't fathom. Is this the same George? When and where was George born? What happened to his three sisters? What took him to Wales? Does anyone know of Richard and Elizabeth, his parents? Apparently George was a fearsome character and there are stories of two wives and certainly Irish descent. Any help much appreciated! Also, what might 'private House' actually mean? Thanks.
