My Cahalarn(e)family we understand came originally from Cork. They emigrated to England and lived in Fulham,London amongst the Irish community. The name appears to have been mispelt many times and may originally have been Cahalane. If anyone of this name spelling or similar, knows that members of their family line left Ireland for London probably around 1850, I would be pleased to hear.
