Madisonville Democrat, (Monroe Co. TN) Thursday, May 8, 1958, Page 5:
“Mrs. Cagle Dies At Knoxville Hospital---Mrs. Inez Cagle, 70, widow of the late John Cagle of Sweetwater, died Thursday of last week at a Knoxville hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Elmo Cagle of Sweetwater and Luther Cagle of Loudon; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Sitzlar of Loudon; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Hayes Memorial Chapel. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.”
