In the 1810 US Census Moore Co NC: William Kindal/Kindel(KENDLE) & wife age 45+(b.bef1765), son 16-25(b.1785-1794), dau 10-15(b.1795-1800). Wm KENDLE & family are next door neighbors of Jacob CAGLE & Andrew AUMAN (m.Mary CAGLE); several more Cagles on same census sheet are nearby neighbors, all in nw corner of Moore Co nr Randolph & Montgomery Cos. DO ANY CAGLE RESEARCHERS HAVE BOOKS ETC TO LOOK IN TO SEE IF WM KENDLE's WIFE WAS A CAGLE, & IF HIS DAU. KENDLE MARRIED A CAGLE in the period 1780-1825? Abt. 1827, Wm KENDLE moved to Sevier Co TN & m(2) Elizabeth __? His neighbors there were Isaac HILL, Isaac RICHARDS, Henry CAGLE & William CAGLE, Jesse RODGERS. I'm seeking info, proofs to confirm Wm KENDLE had 2 sons: 1-Wm Kindle b.1786 NC m.Barbara LUTHER b.1797 Randolph NC (dau of Jacob LUTHER & Sarah LINTON)--descendants m. Luther, AUMAN(Orman). 2-John Kindall b.1788 NC m. Elizabeth KAGLE(CAGLE) b.1800 NC--descendants m. HOUK(Howk)'s, Shields, Yelvington, Snoddy. [This Wm KENDLE b.1752 Suffolk, England; a Patriot under General Francis Marion The Swampfox in several engagements in the Carolinas Oct 1780-Dec 1782; after discharge, moved immediately to Moore Co NC.]
