Been so long since I asked about Mrs CAGE(PollyDILLARD) that I had forgotten although I have long since had my qustion answered by my own DIGGING and one or two VERY helpful DILLARD historians

Parents of Mrs CAGE(Polly were Zachary and Nancy DILLARD)

Don't know if I could get Zach all the way back to any particular DILLARD in the Revolution as there are many SHAKEY DILLARD genealogists out there with more than one idea.

Don't trust rootsweb or ancestry.com Have seen bunches of just plain SILLY genealogies on those two

POLEMAN came down FREQUENLTY in later DILLARD generations and has come to us pronounced PLEMON as in lemon and spelled as pOleman

Our DILLARDS seem to have been known for marrying family...

BROWN,John
