Your responses have been MOST interesting and may help solve OLD Dillard controversy

In VERY early 1800s , either in Smith or Wilson County

Poleman Cage married Mary Dillard

SOME folks believe Mary's mother and dad were Sara and William Dillard

Evidence is coming to light now that her folks were Zachary and NANCY Dillard

One piece of evidence is that in 1830s in Smith Co Poleman was executor of NANCY Dillards estate

Would you help us by providing verification that Mary Dillard Cage's mom was actually named "Mary"?

As you can see that would throw a monkey wrench into BOTH arguments!
