Seeking information on Thomas Caffrey or Caffery(have seen it spelled both ways) who was born in Ireland. He settled in central MO before 1843, having arrived at an area settled by a "small colony" from Charleston, SC. There were Irish settled partly in Elmwood and partly in Marshall, Saline Co., MO. He was one of the first settlers to arrive in that area, as well as, one of the first members of the Church of The Annunciation which was organized in 1843. Any information on this man and his family would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to email address.
