I am trying to trace any descendants of John Caffrey who was born on 27th May 1816 at Barconey, Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Coounty Cavan, Ireland. He emigrated to America c 1830-40 via Cork and all contact was lost. In fact, his actual arrival in America has never been confirmed. His father was Laurence Caffrey and his mother was Ann Kennedy. His brothers were James and Matthew - and they both stayed at home in Ireland. His sisters were Mary, Bridget and Catherine. All siblings were born between 1806 and 1823 in Ireland.
