I am Jannah's father Patrick Caffrey, eldest son of George A. Caffrey. I believe George Caffrey senior was an artilleryman in France in WWI and died in the line of duty as a firefighter about 1926. Clara was the daughter of a Maryland district judge, evidently well respected, and had a sister Helen who lived with her until Clara's death in Denver in 1967. Their children were my father and daughters Catherine and Mary. Helen died around 1979 and Catherine in 1988. Mary is living in Florida. My father passed away last week here in Montana.
I would be interested in information you have on the Caffreys or Dressmans that lived in the Washington DC area in the 1920s, and would be happy to share it with Jannah.
