Hi, I am hopeful regarding your Caffrey-May connection! According to the verbal information given to me by family, my 2nd ggrandmother, Mary (May)Totten, had a sister, Margaret, who indeed married a Caffrey. Mary was born around 1860 in Ireland. I do not know if she was the oldest. Lived in Wilkes-Barre and we were also told the MAY line was out of Cty. Mayo. Unfortunately, I'm at a roadblock with the MAY line. I do have names of the other said siblings of Mary and Margaret, being: Bridget (possibly called Aunt Biddy and possibly moved to upstate NY), Ann who is said to have married a LAWRENCE (possibly moving to W. Virginia), Bill, and a "Nell" who m. a DAVIS. Please know none of this is confirmed. Do you have any information regarding your grandfather, as to find info?
