My ancestor, George Caffey was also born around 1819 in Bucks County. He appears in the 1850 census in Upper Makefield and then in 1860 in Bristol Borough. He was married to someone named Catherine and they had at least three children Anna Elizabeth, William H., and Ellwood.

Have you found out anything more about Jane? Since she named one of her sons George, it's possible that your Jane and my George were siblings. I'm still trying to figure out who George's parents were.

George's daughter, Anna Elizabeth was my great, great grandmother. She married William Decoursey Jackson in 1870 Bucks County but they soon moved to Ellisdale, Burlington County, NJ.

Please let me know if anything here sounds relevant.
