I feel sure we are talking about the same Michael. All I had was the name. My prime interest was the union and the descendants of Avington Caffey and Alice "Elizabeth" Urquhart.
I read your postings of the wills of both Michael and Avington on the Montgomery County, AL site. I find Avington's wife Elizabeth mentioned but no children's names. Can you help me with this line? I show 4 children of this union: George W., Aaron A., Mary E., and Nancy A. but no further deta. I also show that Elizabeth died in Dec 1848, 10 years before Avington died Aug 1858. However the will signed in 1858 mentions Elizabeth. I'm hoping you can share some of your research that will clear up this question.
