My ggrandfather Thomas Caffery was born in Ireland about 1849 and was "one of four brothers"...I first find him in Tama, Iowa about 1860 married to Frances O'Neal. I found one ship record for which this information "fits." Does anyone know of any of these Cafferys?
Arrived from Liverpool at port of NY in 1850: John (35) Martha(30), John(10), charles(7), Michael (3) and Thomas (11 months).
