As far as I know, Patrick Caffrey and Ellen Woods had 4 sons: Edward, Michael P., Tom,and James (died in Boer War). Edward was born in Ballaghadreen, Ireland and later emigrated to Athol, Mass and then farmed near Danielson, CT. I believe the family may have originally come from Scotland and the family name may have been McCafferity. I have more info about Edward and his family.
