Charles Cady, b. 01 Jan 1748, was the son of Ezekiel, Jr and Abigail Stoddard Cady. Ezekiel, Jr., b. 25 Mar 1710 in Pomfret, CT was the son of Ezekiel and Abigail Cady, (who was the daughter of James Cady, and Ezekiel's neice)of Groton, MA, son of Daniel, b. 27 Nov 1659, Watertown, MA and Mary Green, son of Nicholas and Judith Knapp Cady. Charles and his brother Stoddard Cady both had sons Ezekiel. Stoddard's son was born in 1787 while Charles' son was born in 1791. Charles and Janatye Helmer Cady's other children include: David Stoddard - (there are many spellings for Stoddard), Sarah, Susannah, John, Jane, Phillip Helmer, Ezekiel, Delaney, Abigail, Elizabeth, Thomas and Charles Jarvis. Charles was one of the first settlers in Montgomery Co., NY and all of the children were born there. I have some information on spouses if you need any.
