Looking for parents and or birthplace of EZRA CADY my gg-grandfather. He settled in twinlakes michigan in approx 1830's???when it was northwest territory/INDIAN lands. married to indian (we are told MOHAWK)woman named possibly julia or mary mainard.came in covered wagon, built cabin, homesteaded and had children named albert(my line)abagail,frank, sidney(who went to montana as cattle rancher.)and a possible seth? he had a club foot, could play the fiddle and knew enough about carpentry to build his cabin and teach his son to be a carpenter. No graves on record yet...think they were both buried on property which is now condos.the area he lived and raised children was what is now twin lakes michigan in dalton township.muskegon county. had a possible sister named ELLEN whom my grandmother was named for.
my line alberts real first name was HENRY.
supposedly he hailed from York state.
if yu have any information...I would be most grateful!! I am sure we don't come from the Nicholas line.Thanking you ion advance for any help!
