My last name is Cady, but my father told me that it used to be spelled Keady and was of Irish decent. He said it was changed when my ancestors came over from Ireland. Unfortunately, I have no idea if this is true or when it happened(Possibly during the potatoe famine... but not sure). Any information would be greatly appreciated. I know my line back to my great grandfather if that helps.
