Our family tradition says Palmer Cady (born 4 Jul 1748 in Canterbury, CT) was the father of Ela Cady (born 1781 in Caanan, NY), who was the father of Alexander Hamilton Cady (born 8 Dec 1812, also in Caanan NY).

I can't find anything about Ela or Alexander at all, and cannot find any children for Palmer. Can anyone help ?

Alexander was my g-g-grandfather.
