John W. Cady born June 28, 1790 married Maria Livingston who died Dec. 15 1833 at the age of 38. He graduated from Union college with an MA degree in 1808. He was a lawyer if Florida and Johnstown, NY. He served as a member in the New York Legislature in 1822 and the House of Representatives 1823-25. He died Jan. 5, 1854.

Their children:

Livingston Cady b. 7/21/1816 and died 12/5/1846

David Cady b. 7/31/1820 and died 6/2/1895

John Watts Cady b. 7/19/1825 and died 7/20/1859
