I am looking for the parentage of Amos B. Cady, Sr. He was born in New York State, possibly Oneida County ca 1800. He married Cynthia Smith, also born there ca 1800, in 1819. She died November 18, 1836 and he married 2nd, Charity Crippen on March 21, 1837 in Orleans/Oneida County, NY. She was the daughter of Peter and Charlotte Smith Crippen and was born January 10, 1812 in Rome, Oneida Co., NY.
Henry had 7 children with his 1st wife: Henry Evans, John, Amos Jr., Leonard, Sarah, Lemuel, and Alonzo "Lon" Branard.
With his second wife he had 9 children: William James, George R., Eliza E., Cynthia C., David, Elza, Orlando M., Adelbert "Dell", and Ira.
