Looking for Catherine Cady

Catherine Steadman married my ancestor, Ebenezer Cady and he was killed in the Civil War at the age of 27. I assume his widow, Catherine may have remarried. She would have been apprx. 28 yrs of age. Two of her children by Ebenezer were in the Hornell, Stueben Co. 1880 census, but can't find her with name change.
