Tracking Daniel W Cady (b 1786 in CT) Lived Southwest Ohio. Daniel was in Madison, Butler Co. Oh in June 1819, in July Daniel married in Covington, KY to Mandy Moore as witness was Benjamin Cady. In the 1820 Census he is over 25 in Madison. In August 1821, he was involved in the probate of Joseph Cady Sr. The 1830 census has Daniel next to William Henry Harrison, he was Hamilton County Secretary and he was elected president in November 1840. Daniel was still in Miami Township in 1840, and he had a son Harris Pernel (b 1815), which means he was married previously or the marriage to Mandy was not recorded. (Very typical at a time when ordained ministers were in short supply.)
The probate and some other facts tie Daniel to Joseph C Cady Jr and Benjamin Johnson Cady. In near proximity was Naham Cady who lived in Miami township, Oh. He was born in 1816 in Ohio, so it is not clear if he was Daniels brother, son or nephew. Any thoughts/
